By purchasing a ticket to Read Between the Leaves: A Brooklyn Book Crawl hosted by the Audiobook Walking Club of Long Island LLC, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Assumption of Risk: You voluntarily participate in this event and assume all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, accident, property damage or loss.
2. Release of Liability: You release and hold harmless the Audiobook Walking Club of Long Island LLC, its founder, organizers, volunteers, bus hosts, and any affiliated partners from any and all claims, damages, losses or expenses arising from your participation in this event.
3. Transportation: The Audiobook Walking Club of Long Island LLC is not responsible for any injuries, accidents or incidents occurring during transportation provided by Coachman Luxury Transport or any third party charter bus company.
4. Accessibility: Our chartered buses may not be ADA accessible. Guests requiring wheelchair access, mobility assistance or other accessibility accommodations must contact us at [email protected] BEFORE purchasing a ticket so we can advise accordingly. The Audiobook Walking Club of Long Island LLC is not responsible for accessibility limitations of third party transportation providers.
5. Personal Belongings: The Audiobook Walking Club of Long Island LLC is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings during the event.
6. Medical Emergencies: In the event of a medical emergency, organizers will contact emergency services. You consent to emergency medical treatment if necessary. The Audiobook Walking Club of Long Island LLC is not responsible for any medical costs incurred.
7. Weather & Cancellation: This is a rain or shine event. In the unlikely event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control, ticket holders will be notified and offered a credit toward a future event. No cash refunds will be issued.
8. Behavior: You agree to conduct yourself in a respectful manner toward fellow attendees, bookstore staff, bus drivers and event organizers. The Audiobook Walking Club of Long Island LLC reserves the right to remove any attendee from the event for disruptive or inappropriate behavior without refund.
9. Photography & Media: By attending this event you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes by the Audiobook Walking Club of Long Island LLC and its partners. If you do not wish to be photographed please notify your bus host at the start of the event.
10. Alcohol: You acknowledge that alcohol may be available for purchase at certain stops during the event. You accept full personal responsibility for your own alcohol consumption. You must be 21 or older to purchase alcohol. The Audiobook Walking Club of Long Island LLC is not responsible for the actions of any attendee under the influence of alcohol.
11. Refund & Transfer Policy: All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Tickets are transferable to another person; to transfer your ticket, contact us in advance at [email protected] so we can update your registration. For added peace of mind, optional Purchase Protection is available at checkout to protect your purchase against unforeseen circumstances.
12. Age Requirement: All attendees must be 18 years of age or older to participate in this event.
13. Seatbelts: All passengers are required by law to wear seatbelts at all times while aboard the chartered vehicle. By purchasing a ticket you agree to wear your seatbelt and comply with all bus driver instructions.
14. Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Audiobook Walking Club of Long Island LLC from any claims arising from your actions during the event.
